About Me

James Mereus is a Senior Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager serving the Palm Beach market in Commercial Banking at Bank of America. With over 19 years of experience, James partners with mid-sized companies to provide tailored financial solutions that fuel growth, manage risk, and support long-term success.

Since joining Bank of America in 2012, James has helped businesses navigate complex banking needs by leading a team of specialists focused on delivering personalized guidance and resources. Prior to this role, he held small business banking positions at BofA and JPMorgan Chase, building a strong foundation in supporting entrepreneurs and business owners across Palm Beach County.

James is passionate about helping businesses thrive, whether they’re scaling up, optimizing cash flow, or planning for what’s next. Beyond the office, he is committed to community impact, volunteering with several nonprofit organizations including Feeding America. Originally from Fort Pierce, Florida, James earned his Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Tampa and now lives in Royal Palm Beach.
